THE PROJECT IS FUNDED BY THE UK GOVERNMENT
The Sustainable Farming project invites pupils to work together to grow food in a digital greenhouse that they have constructed and coded. With a sustainability focus PS3 pupils are introduced to the urban farming movement which brings crops into our towns and cities, repurposing underutilised urban spaces, reducing food miles and connecting people to the food they eat within their communities.
There are a limited number of places available for primary schools.

EESW is pleased to offer our Smart Homes and Circuit Explorers fully funded activities for eligible primary and secondary schools located within the ten South East Wales local authorities.
This project is funded by CSconnected and workshops can be delivered to fit with the school curriculum during the 2024-25 academic year.
EESW is pleased to offer a limited number of Wind Turbine Workshops for up to 30 pupils per session to eligible primary and secondary schools located in South Wales funded by National Grid’s Community Grant fund.

Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
EESW has held an EESW Student of the Year Award since 2012, set up in memory of Dr Tom Parry Jones, and has since been sponsored by Wales Quality Centre and Industry Wales. Students are asked to submit a proposal detailing why they think they should be EESW Student of the Year and how they can contribute to a STEM role to benefit Wales in the future.
