EESW Project 2022-23

Congratulations to all 80 teams across Wales who participated in the EESW Project 2022-23 This year, 18 teams from North Wales and 62 teams from South Wales completed the Project and took part in the EESW Awards and Presentation Day 2023 events. The North Wales event was held at Venue Cymru, Llandudno on Wednesday 22nd March and the South Wales event took place at a brand-new venue, Swansea Arena, on Monday 27th March 2023.

During the events, the students’ projects were displayed and assessed by volunteer professionals in STEM, who had reviewed their written reports in advance. The teams also had the opportunity to be nominated for awards of £500 in a range of categories.  At the events, students were also able to visit a variety of exhibition stands from trade and academia to gain an insight into STEM courses and career options.

We would like to thank all our sponsors, link companies and engineers, teachers, assessors, and exhibitors for another successful year of the EESW Sixth Form Project, we are very grateful for your continued support of the scheme which has been running now for over 30 years.

Well done to everyone involved this year, the standard of projects was extremely high and made the task of assessment for the volunteer judges very difficult!

Once again this year, we are pleased that the Project has allowed teachers, engineers, company representatives and volunteer assessors to gain a certificate endorsed by CPD UK in recognition of their time spent working with us.
