Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW) Board of Trustees

EESW welcomes the opportunity to talk to individuals who are interested in joining our Board of Trustees.

The primary role of the Trustees is to support and promote the activity of the EESW in achieving its mission and continuing success.

Roles and Responsibility

Ideally trustees will have an active profile within their own particular industrial/commercial/educational sector(s) that are receptive to the work of the EESW.

The role is part time with no remuneration other than reasonable expenses (where appropriate).

With regard to the time input of the role:

  • Trustees are expected to attend the quarterly board meetings and the AGM
  • When available Trustees will represent EESW at events, promoting EESW’s activities and provide support to the Chief Executive and EESW staff based on their individual knowledge and experience.
  • Where appropriate participate in projects/initiatives in support of the EESW and foster relationships based on mutual benefit with other organisations.

The role of Trustee for EESW is a rewarding experience seeing the creative ideas of young people.

If you are interested in being a Trustee please email us your CV with a cover letter to info@stemcymru.org.uk
