Pupils consider movement in animals, in humans, and in nature, and apply this to build, test and refine a new type of robot; one with the perfect balance of speed, strength, and stability.
With each iteration, they'll learn valuable lessons in engineering and resilience, whilst enjoying bringing their unusual creations to life!

Why take part

✔ All kit is provided by EESW to participate in this activity.
✔ Multiple classes and year groups can also be catered for.
Working in groups pupils dive into the world of bio-mechanical robots by building LEGO arms or legs to propel their LEGO robot.  Inspired by the fascinating movement of real-life creatures reinterpreted in modern robotics, this hands-on workshop will guide pupils through an iterative design process, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
